I'll be 38 here in less than a week, and I don't go to parties. I did that mostly in my teens and 20's, but rarely.

I would rather spend one on one time with my friends than in a big group of people.

I usually feel like, YES it hasn't disqualified me, yet! LOL! I usually get disqualified right off the bat on a lot when they do that part first.

There are many where it asks if I have kids and I don't get to do them. I would rather they put that stuff at the end!

Some things I prefer having shipped to the house, but we have the Walmart grocery pickup now and Sam's CLub has click and pull, so all I have to do is pick up those items. I hate going during a busy weekend! I do also like shopping with eBay and Amazon for certain items, like out of print books.

Other places, like clothing stores, I would rather go into than purchase online. Some items are that way for me.

First off its good taking care of your parent.God commands us to honor them.

Having pets is a chore.5 cats???Wow!I love animals too and only have a dog and there is work to do and emotion involved with them. You just have to remember its worth it when they might get in the way.

The loud music is rude.I dont blame you for calling cops if they dont respond to a kind gesture on your part to lower it...you wanna sleep.

Hang in.So many others probably have it worse than you. There is more happiness in giving then receiving.

It never hurts to pray to God.Problem is we seem to only do so when we are in need.Meeting HIM halfway never hurts.HE appreciates it when we obey HIS commands.Reading the bible is a good start.

I pray frequently. It's just it seems like things were going way down hill fast those days!! I was just thinking a few extra prayers might help pull us up out of all this bad luck we seem to have accumulated.

My dad ended up at a rehabilitation center, he's still there. We do not know when he will be released. He ended up hurting his back and may have another infection. I am feeling a bit better. The cats we have are still driving me nuts every so often, but for the most part, they want to sleep and cuddle since it's bit a bit cold as of late.

Thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts!!

Had another rough night. My dad went to the hospital to see if they can help him with his OIC problem. He was in a lot of pain this morning. Not sure there is anything that can be done, but he is getting tests done. I also feel like I am getting a cold! UGH! I need a break!

Thank you for the prayers/good vibes. Can really use them!

I am in need of prayers or good vibes, whatever you got!!

The last few days have been a pain in the backside. It all started Wednesday. My cat Timon, decided to sleep with me. He put his head on mine. Then while he was snoozing away and I started to, he started chirping, in his sleep! I was so shocked by it, I reached over to him to check and he jerked awake. I must have scared him. It got me a bit worried he might be getting sick. He kept me up, cause I was listening to him breath after that and he acted like he wanted to leave, so I put him on the floor thinking he would go in with my parents. He laid down instead and looked at me like I had hurt his feelings! Mind you, he is VERY expressive! After a little pep talk, he went in with them for a while, but later he came back. I kept listening to him again so hardly any sleep that night.

Then, Thursday, we go to sleep again. Timon was laying behind me, facing our hallway. Out of nowhere, he starts hissing! I was looking where he was and there was nothing there! He started then staring at the ceiling and hissing. I'm freaking out, then he start whining and crying like he was hurt. I finally manage to get him to calm down, but he doesn't want to stay in with me. SO I was up most of that night.

I care for my dad as he cannot get up and down a lot. Friday, he thought he might have to go to the hospital, so I was cleaning, ended up hurting my back. He didn't go because he didn't want to and he figured they would not be able to help him with his problem anyway. I also had to go get part of our groceries after I got hurt. Not a happy camper then. Again, Timon had some issues, he decided he wanted to play with the other cats, who did not and was constantly picking on them, all night.

After that, yesterday, I was awoken at 4 something this morning by a neighbor playing very loud music. So, I had to call the cops to take care of it. I was in no mood for that having not gotten any sleep for 2 nights already. They finally turned it way down after that. I hate using our resources for such a thing, but I do not know our neighbors since they keep moving out of here so frequently! It also bothers me that there is really no way to tell where it is coming from unless you are outside. I live in county, so going out at that time, at night, not a good idea. That was primarily why I called it in, plus noise ordinances exist where I live, so there was that. I got about 3 hours of sleep after this.

Later that day, I was in my room as I was still not feeling well from my back and other female issues. My mom went to go do something outside and Timon, one of our 5 cats, decided to go outside. I dashed out in my sandals and went straight to the back, where they normally go to hide out! He played his game of coming where I could see him, then vanishing under again. We have big bricks stacked under our trailer, but there are gaps from them being moved and not put back. Timon decided to roll and I managed to get him, however, he was BEHIND the bricks, so I cut up my arm on it. I have a big bruise near the crease of my elbow. I hurt my knee, arm, back and side getting him. All of about 20 minutes. Plus the stuff I was in, I'm allergic to! So I started also having sinus trouble.

On top of all that, I still had to go pick up some items, which I didn't get everything yet, and I came home only to find my mom didn't take care of the buckets. Our roof leaks, hence why I am on here trying to make a little money to try getting it all fixed. So, we get a slight downpour, and I have to go bail buckets, which aggravates everything that is already hurting.

SO with that said, it's 12:38 AM Sunday. I'm hurting and tried to sleep, but when it's leaking in your room, it doesn't always go that way! I did try to sleep, but Timon got into an argument with his brother a while ago and it just kept me up! I'm running on empty! I have had probably about 8 hours of sleep, not all in a row mind you, in 4 days!

Any prayers, good vibes or what ever you got, would be appreciated!! I need all I can get!

Baking, but I love my crockpots! I don't like cooking on the stove at all, or the grill.

I only like certain veggies fresh and frozen. I have only found canned green beans that we like. I do not like any of the fresh ones or the frozen ones.

I am on meds, but sometimes I get a migraine and it is usually from stress and BP going up. I also sometimes get dizzy moving to fast. Laying down does not help, in fact with me, it makes it worse. I take the Excedrin tension headache and that helps drastically! I usually only have to take one and it is gone within a half hour.

IF they decide to do games, I would like to see them do it differently from other sites.

MV, does them through FB, which I don't like.
ID, does them though GSN, which is OK, but to get anywhere, you have to pay for them.

What I would like to see them do is make a section of mini games, like the ones on iwin.com, and have different little ones that earn you points. Like say they do one similar to the hidden object game. And make it so you can go back a week still if you miss a day. Maybe also make it so if you play a certain number of games, you get an extra bonus.

Nothing that really requires leveling. Some of the ones through MV/FB they want you to get to a level 40 before you get any points, and you only get a certain amount once you reach that level.

Maybe they could do a championship thing, like highest points for the month or something.

I also thought, since RewardTV is going away, they could do something like that here. Or maybe do a daily question to get points too.

« on: January 08, 2017, 08:03:32 am »Message ID: 1116004
There is a doll collection museum in Winona, TX on Main Street when I used to live on North Pointe. I've never been inside but they also do repairs by toy Dr. Pat Schlau in the Toy Hospital at It's a Doll's World. They may be able to help you find what you are looking for and quite possibly be interested in your doll clothing sales. It's certainly worth the effort to make the contact even if for only future reference. My Grandma collected dolls and made wigs for them as well as clothes. She taught me at a very young age to make doll clothes and pageant dresses, prom dresses, kids clothes, etc. She introduced me to fashion design. Still today I like to see what the designers are coming up with.

If only I had stuck with it...What if ???

Thanks! I will look into them! I have a lot of Barbie's, but I do want to expand into other areas.

I love dolls-Call me: Old-fashioned! I love Madame Alexander dolls, American Girl dolls and Barbie dolls series, including Ken dolls. Remember for Christmas there is a company that makes dolls.
I do not know the name of the company. The dolls come in a box with different outfits. I also like paper dolls-two dimensional because they are educational. You can teach a kid how to dress a doll in  different outfits for many occasions.

Madame Alexander was one of the ones I forgot about!! I wanted to get one for my granma and I could not remember the brand! I know they can get pricey too.

Our local Toys R Us is now featuring American Girl and they now have a doll hospital for them. I saw one there before Christmas for less than $100, but I could not get it at that time.

Thanks for all the information. This is helpful!!
