Offers / Re: Bummer! Not going to make a cashout this month.
« on: August 30, 2019, 10:32:01 pm »Message ID: 1290592
I'm not making it either. I've been working on this cashout for two months, but it wasn't enough. A lot factored in to not earning enough that was out of my control, but it still stinks. I'm hoping to be able to make enough in the early days of September that I can cash out quickly and get started back on track for my hope of cashing out every other month again.

Off-Topic / Survival Job
« on: August 30, 2019, 10:27:18 pm »Message ID: 1290590
I've had a difficult time job hunting over the past few months so I finally had to get a survival job at a deli in a grocery store so I can pay bills without going broke. When I'm not doing that, I'm trying to start up a freelance business and write/sell my own play scripts and writing.

Anybody else working a survival job right now? If so, how are you staying positive while working a job you really aren't passionate about?

Off-Topic / Re: What is the Best Concert or Play you've been to?

I've been to so many plays and musicals (because I am kind of a theater nerd/actress/playwright) that it would be hard for me to pick a favorite. One particular show that sticks out was the musical "Catch Me If You Can" performed by a professional group in my area. I absolutely loved the songs. You guys should check it out.

Off-Topic / Re: how many states have you visited in the United States

I think I've been in a little over a dozen states. My family didn't travel much when I was growing up so I am a little behind. I'm hoping to travel a lot more once I get my finances settled because I love experiencing new places. Not sure where I will start, but I'm hoping to see a lot of cool places.

Off-Topic / Re: New Money Making website!

Thanks.  I won't even bother.  I am leery of a lot of these new sites.
Same. I won't use a new earning site unless I have seen a bunch of reviews and am fully confident that the site is not a scam. It took me several days of research before I joined FusionCash (which I'm completely glad that I did).

We all need to do research before signing up for anything online.

I can't say that I have run into a survey that spelled it as "afro-American." That's interesting. On a related note I find it interesting that some surveys give options that are like "black" "white" "Asian" etc. and others are more specific like "African American" "Caucasian" etc.

When I first heard about this movie, I thought "oh great another movie that is a biography of yet another band/musical group." There have been a lot over the past year and I rolled my eyes at the idea of another movie like it. Then I saw another preview. Not sure if I will watch it or not. Maybe when it comes to Redbox or if it goes on Netflix.

I personally have not experienced this, but I have had several friends who have experienced this. It stinks. Fingers crossed, knock on wood, throw salt over the shoulder and any other good luck superstition there is to keep it from happening to any of us.

I kinda procrastinated on making my posts for this month as well. I just started a new job and it threw me off my intentions of getting my posting done early. Yeah that's probably and excuse, but it was a deciding factor.

Offers / Interesting Thing on PTC
« on: July 31, 2019, 09:03:18 pm »Message ID: 1286413
The other day I was completing PTC and on the history page I noticed that it did not list anyone who died on this this day. I've never encountered this before. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me?

It amazes me how many surveys I have come across with glaring typos. If you want your data to be as accurate as possible, take the time to make sure that everything is written properly. In other words, PROOFREAD.

Maybe I'm just a writer/former writing tutor that I notice errors that other people read right over. Still I would appreciate the companies that ask for my time to take a little time of their own and double check their surveys they send out.

FusionCash / Re: duplicate surveys

When I was new to FusionCash, I took a survey and it's follow-up twice. I was still figuring out the site and was surprised it would let me. After I cashed out, those two duplicate credits were denied. I understood and I don't think it has happened since. Of course it helps that this site is the only one I use.

I bet their thoughts are something along the lines of "ooh pretty thing" "I'm hungry" and "where's mommy/daddy." But in all honesty I have no idea. Even after seeing my two nephews growing up, I couldn't tell you what their thoughts were.

And yes, they grow up too fast.

Off-Topic / Re: If you suddenly had $200,000
« on: July 31, 2019, 09:45:43 am »Message ID: 1286319
If you woke up one day and learned that you acquired $200,000?

How would you manage it?

I would begin by researching whether or not I have to pay taxes on it.  I would definitely want to make that my highest priority.

Would you tell anyone you have it?  If so....who would you tell?

I think I would keep that information to myself.

I'm not very materialistic but I would want to make sure all my bills are paid off and I would open a brokerage account so I could invest some of it.

Realistically.....What would you do?

Unless someone just gives it to you then you have to pay taxes on it.  If it is winnings or income.

I would pay off all debt.  I probably would not tell anyone if I all of a sudden had that much money.  Nobody needs to know.

Technically, any money you get (yes even birthday money) is supposed to be reported on your taxes. Most people don't and a person paying you for something doesn't have to report it unless it is over $600. If someone gave you $200,000 it would probably be flagged by the IRS at some point in the transaction.

Off-Topic / Re: The truth about bananas
« on: July 31, 2019, 09:40:36 am »Message ID: 1286318
Wow. I had no idea that bananas had this many differences in nutrition as they ripen. I know fruits and vegetables can have slight differences in nutrients depending on their ripeness, but I really had no idea it could be much of a differences.

Thanks for letting us know.
