Or maybe you were talking about your age?  :dontknow:

great post.

i'm an old geezer.... my cell has the same ring it had when i bought it.

i dont want to watch vids on my phone, i dont want to read my phone (texting).. hell, most times.... I DONT WANT TO TALK ON MY PHONE.

my main objective in life is to live a very long life.... and be the only person in the western world who has never sent nor received a "text" message.

Too late!

You're not the only one who never has text messaged, etc.

I use my phone for conversation and that's all!  :confused1:

I have the ability to access the web on my phone, text message and I choose not to do so.

If something important has to be said, I will call a person, NOT get charged extra to text message them. Nor will I spend a connection charge on top of getting charged per minute for using the internet option on my phone. Yes, my carrier charges per minutes usuage and a connection fee.  :bs:

And I am with you, I actually HATE talking on the phone. Mine is used for work and emergencies.  :sad1:

As for the ringtones, I get free ringtones at one per month from my carrier that are automatically loaded into my phone. I do not get charged for them and it's an extra service they provide to their timely paying customers.  :angel12:

Wouldn't that actually be:

"Puuuuuuurrrrfect!"

LoL

 :cat:

just alittle tooooooooo feminine for me.
i already take alot of crap on my favorite site for my meower gig.... well, they used to give me alot of crap.... saying cats are "girly" and such.

but i hung in there and everyone now knows i'm just screwed in the head.

but. i am a :cat: .... make no mistake.

heres a pic of me relaxing at the house.

My "puuuuuurfect" comment had nothing to do with femininity or masculinity.

It was rather a reference to the sound a cat makes when they're happy, content, etc.

And my friend, even male cats "puuuurrrr"

Even this big guy. This is one of my feline friends, "Sunny" during one of his grooming sessions. LoL

Off-Topic / Re: Is debit & credit the same?
« on: February 17, 2008, 02:33:24 am »Message ID: 18345
Credit: Every time you use a credit card, you are actually borrowing money that is made available to you by a bank or other financial institution. The institution pays the debt to the vendor, and in turn, you pay the money back to the institution. By signing up for a credit card, you agree to pay back the money that you borrowed, in addition to any interest drawn on the amount you borrowed.

Debit:  Issued by your bank or other financial institution, debit cards are check cards that take funds directly from the money that you have in your bank account--in a sense acting like a check, just faster. With a debit card, you don't have to carry cash or checks, and it is very convenient to shop at a variety of places including gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and retail stores. They provide instant access to your money and are accepted worldwide.

Debit cards are also used like credit cards (for places that do not have the debit option). Meaning that the store you are shopping at 'swipes' it and then you sign off on the receipt. You don't have to show a picture ID, and there is usually no PIN# for you to punch in.
Using it as a debit card however, you have a PIN# to enter but do not need to sign off on a receipt.

So:
Credit Cards are for money that's borrowed & you're paying back (a loan).
Debit Cards are for money that you already have.

No what I am saying is, if we added every feature that was brought up to us, the admin would be typing from now until, possibly forever. So while we  do take every feature into consideration, there is not enough hours in the day or week for us to maintain the site, live a real life (which we do have by the way :-) ), and code up new features.

And here we thought WE were your lives?!?!

WoW! So sorry to hear of everyone's misfortune w/some of the other GPT sites.

I wonder what happens.  :dontknow:

Do they just get so screwed over by Advertisers that they cannot pay their users, so they just "get the hell outta Dodge" w/out so much as an explanation?

I joined cash crate awhile back but never did anything with them (completed offers, etc.).

Glad I didn't now.

Well, sorry again guys and hope all works out in the end for you all.

I get like 3 of those a day ..lol

I get the ones where some poor guy dided and left me all his money too.

Yeah, me too.

I also like the ones that I recieve from "Africa". Where the woman is a daughter of some diplomat whose died and she wants to move her funds (usually around $3,000,000.00) into a U.S. bank account.

And of course, that bank account would be mine.

Seriously, are you kidding me? Are there people who actually fall for that? Hook, line AND sinker?

If so...."I'll sell you the Eiffel Tower for 1/2 million dollars!!!"

LoL
