Less - we had a baby this year and my hubby lost his job.  I am actually kind of excited because the last thing we need is more stuff cluttering up the apartment.  Now if I could just convince my parents that Christmas is actually better this way...

actually i think we spend more this year than we did last year. We spent 200 on each other and probably 350 on my daughter but we didnt get family any gift cards this year.

I'm spending less. I haven't had steady work since early summer so I just don't have the money to spend.

We are spending more altogether because we have another child this year but less on each child.  The two eldest are old enough that they're okay with one or two larger gifts and a few smaller than a butt load of small gifts.  Thankfully!
