My native language is English but I know some Spanish (took 4 years of school) and Mandarin (lived in Taiwan).  I'm not fluent in either I forgot a lot.   I want to study more and keep up with it but I get so lazy and don't study.

First language is English, however modified, customized and downright broken it may be. 
Other languages for me are Choctaw, French, German, Norwegian, and Spanish/Latin. Least those are the ones I can carry
on a fair conversation in. I dabble in Finnish and Scots Gaelic, but I have a hard time trilling, so I can't pronounce half
of the words in the languages lol This year I'm learning Japanese, a little each day. Mostly because I am an anime fan,
and severely dislike the watered down translations of the story lines from Japanese to English.

I am fluent in Spanish and I am currently learning French(from my daughter she is taking it in high-school) and ASL (American sign language- from my sister-in-law she is learning it in college) Lol I take it where I can get it...
