anybody have their kids in preschool?

my son is turning 3 soon and i am thinking about sending my son to preschool. at age 3 could be a little young but i feel he is ready or will be ready by than. is there any parents who have kids in preschool now and what do they think about it? thank you for your advices, any advice will help.
