What's your favorite pet shampoo? Favorite pet cologne?

    Do you have a favorite pet shampoo that you always prefer to use or do you prefer bar soap?  Do you use or have a favorite pet cologne?

Bar soap? lol with an animal?! How are you going to keep them still long enough to suds up a washcloth, or use it effectively on a longhaired animal?

I just grab whatever is on the Walmart selves
Luckily I don't have to deal with allergies or all white dogs. (Or any other animal besides dogs or rarely the cat or ferrets)

If I run out, baby shampoo works just as well. Or my shampoo even, mixed in with the last of the doggy shampoo 'cause I forgot to put it on the grocery list

Don't have a scent preference, and my dogs do. not. like. being sprayed at, so cologne or whatever is definitely out

As long as they don't smell like garbage, it's alright. Febreeze helps the furniture lol


What kind of pets do you have?

Ah I see!
Yeah, I'm more of a farm girl. The dogs get a bath when dirty or for fleas, and its more or less an assembly line crossed with a battlefield
(Although I'd call you a cheat - labs love water! - except I'm sure you deal with other breeds in your spa business lol j/k)

Besides, I don't even do that kind of stuff for myself.

Here's a question since you're a spa person, hopefully you won't mind, - what would you recommend for a Chinese Crested's skin? I have a little blackhead issue I definitely want to nip in the bud and was debating/researching what to pick up for it.

My kitten just loves the bathtub, he is always jumping in, hoping for some water in there, I always thought cats hated baths, we use a flea shampoo, kitty doesn't have them, and that is most likely why.

My dog  (a mastiff) loves baths. I think she likes the water and she especially loves to be petted, so a bath for her is the best of both worlds. I've just used generic shampoo that I bought at the pet store; never thought of trying "human" shampoo though. And as for pet cologne or perfume.... I've never heard of that. I don't think she'd like it, though. When I put on cologne, she tends to back away from me. I don't think she understands that it's still me but with a different scent. I'm guessing a perfume on her would just cause her to roll on the floor to get the "stinky stuff" off.
