Do you push god onto your kids and or others?

I know that people say how god is real and all this other stuff on here so if you have kids do you expect them to think the way you do and do you think people you do or dont know should think the same. Or do you think your kids and others can think what they want its there choice. I am going to let my kid decide I may take them to church once in a while but I will never force them to go I used to go to wesday night stuff at the chruch I used to go to.

My parents pushed Christianity on me when I was a kid, made me go to sunday school, etc. I don't feel bitter about it or anything, but in the end, being raised as a Christian didn't have any bearing on me sticking around once I was old enough to make decisions for myself and realized it wasn't for me.

I know what its like to have religion and god forced on me and i personally did not like it. having it forced on me made me rebell against it and want to chose for myself weather or not i believe in god. I personally dont believe in god but a god. and i will not force my opinion upon my kids nor do i plan to force it upon anyone else.

I believe you have to be careful on how you handle this with your kids.  If you push too hard and impose church and more, than once they grow older they can go the other way because of us pushing too much.  It is important for them to know and go along with their interest and curiosity about religion.  Teach the basics of religion and morals and most likely they will stick to it for their rest of their lives.
