Winter Olympics Snafau

There is a problem with the transmission.  NBC has gone black.  It happened right after the skater from Japan did a magnificent job.  The skater from Korea was next.  NBC lost transmission.  All I have is a black screen.  All my other channels work fine.  I was really enjoying the skating.  The skating is my favorite.

Well it will happen. If it was wide, no doubt NBC will rebroadcast.

Sounds like a problem on your end, mate. NBC's Olympics coverage has been pretty much uninterrupted as far as I've seen from anyone, so it's probably your TV and the signal not cooperating. Try moving it a bit into a different position?

It was a local problem.   Our local station had a fire where they were transmitting. Or at least that is what they are telling us.  They did re-broadcast but at 1 a.m. in the morning.  I only found out about this this morning but even if I knew that last night, 1 a.m. is just a bit too late for me.  The only viewers affected were cable customers.   Those who had AT&T were not affected.  There are a lot of unhappy cable TV customers in my regional area right now.
