i don't really send much mail either way. my actual physical mailbox is really only used for sending and receiving netflix movies, gamefly games, and entertainment weekly and parents magazine subscriptions. oh yeah, and to send out my rent check. other than that, i pay all of my bills online, and when i contact family/friends i email or use facebook chats/messages.

Sometimes its just nice to get real snail mail and i still have friends/family that don't routinely use e-mail.

I send my mail mostly email, especially when I need it to get to the person quickly.  However, my fiance is in the militay, so I sent him letters.  That way he can have them to reread whenever he wants!

I like to use both, but I use email a whole lot more because it is quicker and faster...but I still get mail through the mail box way too.

Most of the time, I like to send email. It's alot easier to send email to communicate with everyone. Email is faster and definitely more convenient. You can sen it in
minutes and at any time of the day ( night). I can send an email during the middle of the night. This doesn't disturb the receipients. They can open anytime or not open.
I can't remember the last time when I mail something.

I have an email for personal use and an email for all other correspondence. I still love sending/receiving cards for holidays the old fashion snail mail way!

I used to write letters a lot. It's funny how your handwriting skill deteriorates over time from using a keyboard so much! I'd love to write letters again, but the internet seems to have made me more of an "information NOW" kind of person. Sad when you think about it.

I do both.  I like to use SendOutCards to create personal greeting cards which go through the regular mail system.

I use email for business and quick notes between friends.

Sorry, I only use the mail system for my online orders. Everything else, by e-mail. It's faster and more convenient. However, e-mail is being paid for by the advertisers which is why may people say e-mail is free.
