Yes, I love them.  I have 3, and I used to teach preschool.

I respect them as my fellow human beings living on this planet but in general I can take them or leave them.  Some are ok.  I've never had a desire to have any.  I'd rather have a dog.  I used to teach preschool and loved them (except for one that got on my nerves).  I even had a favorite I wanted to take home with me but yeah teaching preschool was the best birth control.

yeah its weird, I was always raised to believe that children are all beautiful creations from god or whatever. So I always believed that it was in our nature to just look at a child or talk to a child and become instantly happy. At least that's how it is for me, but some people genuinely don't like kids, I didn't believe this until I met my girlfriend. lol, she hates kids. her mom does too, it's genetic. haha

i worked at a day care center when i was a teenager and i used to say the same thing about that being the best birth control. add into that the fact that i had to watch my younger siblings a lot and that i had so many people in my extended family. those were good reasons for me to not want kids. i got quite a surprise when i found myself pregnant but i do not regret it at all. i have 2 wonderful kids and i love them!

as for other people's kids, i occasionally encounter some that just irritate me
