Yea I think I need help on this also, I'm so afraid to let the go anywhere without me.
I am just like that and my daughter never went to any place without me, she went to school on August 20 for the first day and it was friday I did try to prepare her for that day she was watching sid the science kid episode and she saw him going to school staying there with his friends where no Mom or Dad there and how they have fun there playing and knowing new things with their teacher and when the time comes thet return back home again to their families and telling them how was it today at school I spent an hour with her in school and all the parents did the same too, then small good bye and leave as fast as you can because the more you spent kissing and saying bye the more difficult for both of you. for the first 2 weeks my daughter comes excited from school when its time to bed she say I don't want to go to school and wake up the same but once we open the door to go to school she goes and now she loves school and she want to go everyday, and the most important thing is try to keep a very good realtion with her teacher. I hope this help

My daughter never had any fears about going to school. She has pretty much been around other kids her whole life though. I took her the first day - it was more emotional for me than for her. She basically told me "get out of here, Mom" lol
