Talk about misleading!
« on: November 26, 2010, 07:26:34 pm »
I just finished one of FC's special tasks that was listed at "$28". When I checked back after it said my account would be credited momentarily, only $0.28 was in the account. I can't believe how much time I wasted.  All of their special offers are like that, too. I bet the one that claims to pay $100 after 45 minutes of work only pays a dollar. This is outright fraudulent. I am furious.

pay attention to detail! even though the payout might seem measly for the work.

It's Unfortunate This Has Happened, But It Appears To Have Been An Obvious "TYPO" Which FusionCash Has Fixed  :peace:

I do appreciate your advice, and I'm not trying to get rich.  Luckily, I'm not in a desperate financial situation, but it's always nice to make a little extra cash.
That's why I'm not aggressively completing offers.  Also, after the initial shock, I still completed the same task about four more times, so it's not going to stop me from continuing to partake in offers.

It's definitely not our intention to be misleading.  There is a technical issue with the special offers panel, where if you proceed through a certain series of clicks involving the 'Tasks' panel, you can end up on a page with over-stated reward amounts.  If this happens, you should just close the window and re-open via the 'special offers' offer link on FC.  Once the page is reloaded the reward amounts should appear correctly again.  If there was a way to fix this, I would, but unfortunately it's not feasible.

I have experienced a similar situation where after going through many pages. Some of the offers just say "30 cash" etc. As some one mentioned, after a few days, I realized that it was a typo error. Anyways, here it was a technical issue which was misleading of course. Let's just dismiss these isolated 1 or 2 issues and continue with this beautiful site. :)

It was more often than not in a dollar than cent value.  You have to understand that the jump from 0.28 to $28 is a big deal.

Sometimes changes can not be made to sites as the admin has stated and admin has given you advice on what to do when /if it happens again I understand that it is a big deal but just keep plugging along and things will work out I am sure You must still like FC as you have completed other offers. Just keep up the good work we like all our newbies and offer any help we can this is a very active forum lots of good people Hang in there :peace:

This is very good information.  I will pay close attention to the different offers that I select because I would not want this to happen to any of us down the road.  Thanks for sharing.

I have seen this happen before where all of the credits listed seemed to have been 100x what they should hve been. I think it was fixed pretty quickly.
