What would you rather do be at home and work or work outside the house

I would much rather work from home. I would like it because it would be much more comfortable and I can get a lot accomplished.

I'd rather work from home, unless I had an outside job that was really fun.  It's nice to be able to set your own pace, keep on on the chores, and not have to deal with people when working from home!!!

I'm fortunate enough to be a telecommuter for work.  I got a job on our corporate research team and my local account didn't have room to keep me in the local office - so I've been working from home for a little over a year now.  Absolutely love it!  I get so much more work done than I ever did in the office - as I don't get people stopping by my cube to chat as I'm trying to get a program done or listen on a conference call.  Also worked out very well last winter when I was snowed in for a couple days after a few nasty blizzards.

I think both it would be convient to work at home not having to go and waste gas driving and nice for the freedom but i do think it would be nice to get out of the home and meet people be social have co workers i dont know i would have to try both but i think i would like to work somewhere but at home sometimes ? idk

I like to do both.  I need to work outside the home to be around others & keep up with the world (and it pays better) but I also like to work at home so I can multi task & keep up with my housework. I also care for my ill mother so it's easier to do when working from home.  I don't have to worry about her as much as i do when I am away at work.

My goal is to some day work full time at home, but for now I have to work outside the home to make ends meet.

I love working from home. I've never had a problem with discipline around working from home. Did my last two educational degrees online and love the self-scheduling aspect. Working from home means I can balance everything that is important in my life therefore giving myself to have energy to do all the things I value. Great way to balance yourself is to be your own boss all the way around. There are always ways to make money, that is not the issue. Finding ways to do what you love to do while doing that is the trick.

My job currently allows me to work from home on some days, so I do get a chance to enjoy it. However, the dark side of that whole thing is that even though I'm on vacation for the next week, I'm expected to cover all of my meeting and cover 24/7 for my job still. Being able to work from wherever makes it so the company EXPECTS you to be working from wherever ALL.OF.THE.TIME.

Such is the life of a quality data analysis engineer.
