What if you don't have a cell phone?

A lot of the offers I am clicking on are asking for a valid cell phone number.  I have tried putting in my house phone, but it doesn't want that.....just a cell phone.  I don't have, and don't want, a cell phone....does that mean those offers can't be completed at all???  I considered putting in my sister's cell phone, but she can take me in a fair fight! LOL

Not having a cell phone is not always bad but if your doing the offers they normally want to verify you have a phone with text messaging so they can send codes to you for whatever your trying to sign up for and for talking you into buying something you don't need!

Ohhhh, ok.  Well, I have no motivation to get a cell phone.....I don't want to be that available to my boss.  I will just skip those offers and leave them for someone who has a cell phone!

I find that problematic as well.You complete the whole offer,only to get stymied by not having a cell number to give them!

Oh, I am so glad to know I am not the last person on earth who doesn't have a cell phone!  You made me feel less 70's!  We'll just be land-line buddies!

I have noticed that sometimes they hide the "skip" or "pass" links during some of those ad offers,so you have to stay observant as to where they've hidden them.I hope this helps!

I agree. Whenever they ask for your cell phone number there is always a skip or pass somewhere on the page. Sometimes you just have to look hard to find it, since they would much rather you put in you number than skip it.

I think you're right (last couple of posts) as far as Fusion Cash's offers go--at least the ones I've done (I'm a newbie).

However, outside of fc, I've run into a couple of sites that do not have a skip on the cell phone page.  Since I only use my cell in Thailand using prepaid, I tried to put in my home phone but the site recognized it wasn't a cell.  I remember one site where they would only send coupons to your cell, so if you didn't have a cell, you couldn't register.

I have a cell phone, and since it's my primary home phone, I put it in as my home phone. But I don't do offers that specifically ask for a cell phone, as they will either sign me up for a subscription on my phone bill, or they will bombard me with spam text messages, which costs me a lot of money because I don't have a messaging plan.

I have a cell phone, but I am one of those that does not text. My cell phone is just that A PHONE. I refuse to be tied to the world more than that and pay for it too.

I have a cellphone but usually pass on the offers that ask u to enter the #. Sometimes you can PASS or SKIP the screen depending on the offer.
