hopefully moving at the end of the summer.
just a town away, but a bigger place. we've been
confined to a one-bedroom apartment for several
years now and i just can't take it anymore. it's just
me, my fiance, and our cat... but still. we're acquiring
a lot more crap as we get older, lol. we need a place
to put it!

besides that, i'd like to go on a small roadtrip for my
birthday (in july). i want go antiquing/thrift shopping
to places i've never been, but within a few hours' drive.

we'll see if that happens!
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I am going to the Dominican Republic as usual. And then, I'll be going to Puerto Rico to see my relatives who I haven't seen in a long time.  :D

I don't really do anything special. I used to back in the day, when I had things to do. Now, I just do the things I do all year (which isn't much at all). Going to try to have some cook outs though. Other than that, I don't have any summer aspirations (and honestly haven't for years now). Real bummer the more I think about it.  :(

Shadetree.......................... You could set a new goal of going someplace new or doing something different once a month then you would have have a change in your routine. If you are strapped for money then pack a picnic and go to the park for a special day and ask friends to meet you their. Have each of them bring a different type of food then you have a potluck. Just a few suggestions.

This Summer I'm kinda chillin' and saving money.  But right now I've got my 2 boys with me for 2 weeks and I'm looking forward to spending lots of time with them.  They're teenagers and pretty soon they'll be too old to hang out with their old man.  I love having them with me...

Go to amusement/water parks with my nieces, bbq with friends and try to enjoy the outdoors as much as I can.

What do you do for summer fun?

I am planning on traveling, and moving.
[I would like to get around the city and see a lot of things I never explored before. There are all kinds of restaurants here and many ethnic neighborhoods. I want to eat up all the food in the city. I would also like to go to the museums and historical places. I like houses of different types and designs I will be looking at many types and maybe photograph some if the owners don't mind. The night life is very good here I may visit some cafes and listen to some music or visit the fireworks displays. I think it will make for a great summer.       :wave:/quote]
