4th of July
« on: June 26, 2011, 07:07:57 am »
Does anyone have to work on the 4th of July? If not, what are your plans?

My department is open 365 so I asked my boss the other day if we will be adjusting our hours and he said Good Question... HELLO, not a real great answer. So guess we'll see if I will be working or able to enjoy a bbq with friends and family

I have to work on July 4th.  2 years ago I had that day off.  Oh well, I am glad I have a job.  But I get off 3 pm that day so maybe I can plan something.  Hope everyone has a good day.

I don't have to work this year.  I planned on going to DC to watch fireworks and listen to the orchestra.

I am not sure what our plans are yet. Here in west Texas, most places have a ban on fireworks because it is so dry. That really makes it hard to celebrate like normal!

Yeah, I am NOT going to work but hopfully calling my Dad who served in the Armed Forces for 20 years and say "Thanks again for serving our country".  You should do the same...

No school on 4th of July! Just firework show by the Charles River!

My family and I are going camping! Can't wait love watching the kids run around in the woods. Fishing, boating, hiking just being with the family is going to be awesome. Hope everyone has a good 4th!

I work at home, so it doesn't really matter.  Besides, I'm not into the July 4th holiday...it was never a big deal even growing up as a kid.

 Yep, I have to work, too, but I wouldn't have done anything anyway but hang around the house.
