What are some things to do during a heatwave, besides just staying inside with the a/c?

We go to the bowling alley or shopping.  We sometimes go out to eat and enjoy the cool air in the restaurant.   We still go to the library to get books to read and enjoy.  When we used to go the lake or the pool to go swimming but now we dont get to do that as much.

I really hated this heatwave. All we done here was just stayed inside as much as possible and never went out unless we absolutely had to.

I stay in the basement which is the coolest place in the house.  I can't go anywhere else because as soon as I get too hot I start to get nausea.  That's why I prefer to be cold than hot--no snow just cold.  I don't have to deal with feeling sick.

I think playing in the sprinklers, and throwing water balloons are nice activities for weather like this. Above all, staying inside with the a/c is the way to go. I go outside to water my plants in the morning, and even then, it's just TOO hot. Here in central Texas, it got up to 108 degrees last week.

I've never experienced a heat wave like we're having now. Advice to everyone: "stay cool."

I would go to the movies; they are always chilly here. There is also bowling, water park, the library, a friend's house with a pool, visit close-by relatives who have ac!
