They ask you these questions that have relevance to the job at all. For example: Do most politians lie to get ahead?......I mean of course the answer is YES, like no brainer, but what the hell does that have to do with trying to get a job at Target.....Then they ask you the same question just in different ways. For example:Are you satisfied with your life? How satisfied are you with your life?---Have you accomplished enough in your life?Do you feel as if you accomplised everyting you needed to do so far?Do your parents think you accomplish enough?....---LIKE REALLY?..Then they ask you a question like, "When you get mad at someone you,"...a.Walk away/b.Talk about it/c.Hit a wall/d.Make them apologize.............Who in this world wouldnt choose option "A".?

They ask these questions to try to profile you to see if you are a liar or a thief. I find it insulting, especially since it is only an idiot that will lose their job for some discounted low quality items. I also find it insulting that they would approach people who are looking for work as a thief when if you were a thief you wouldn't need a job. There are also some things that as an American you have the right to keep private. So say so if you find the questions intrusive simply write private on your application. Show up on the interview with a police clearance and a child abuse clearance if they ask you any more give them that. That will shut them up. :BangHead:

I find it insulting if they can't take my resume and references at value then no personality test will help them. I have worked in the work force for
25 years, have references from every job I held.

I think those questionnaires are so ridiculous. There are no right or wrong answers, supposedly,  yet your answers may determine whether you will get an interview or not ... so lame

I think they are stupid and pointless. But whatever they are looking for, I apparently answer incorrectly. I have applied at Target a few times and never gotten a call back and Kohl's flat out denied me at the end of the questionnaire. Stupid. I've done retail forEVER.
