Here in West Texas we got the first snow of the season last night/this morning. It's not enough to do anything fun, but I do love making snowmen and having snowball fights. I can still remember back in high school when we had a street-wide snowball war. It was amazing!

Our snow always has a layer of ice on it hard to make snowmen or snow angels with it.

Whenever I have the chance, I will make a snowman myself! I am a kid at heart. My eyes light up when I see snow because I always associate the snow with Christmas and the Holidays!  :angel11:
I don't have grandkids yet, (thank God..haha), I just starting making babies...lol, but I still consider myself a kid because I still do kiddy stuff.  :P I play in the snow too. February of this year, there was a blizzard here (Oklahoma), and I LOVED IT!! I walked in it for about 20 minutes until I about froze my fingers off....haha!  :-[

I grew up in a small town called Rolling Fork in MS, about 30 minutes from Vicksburg and it only snowed appreciably about 3 times in the decade that I lived there.  You can imagine the excitement this caused, it was magical as a kid.  Not enough to build a snowman, but enough to have a great time.  Still love the snow at 33 years of age and now a large part of my reason for loving the snow is the ski season.

Fortunately, all we got was rain yesterday. However, we are supposed to get snow tomorrow night. October way to early to get snow. :peace:

We usually make snow angels, the snow here usually isn't good for snowmen....  Sledding is even more fun than snow angels though.
