Yes it was.  It's OK for a first round drafted Quarterback to sit on the bench for a couple of years to learn the ropes, but they have to get in the game and start to make the money they are paying them.  Anyway if San Diego can get rid of a Drew Brees and give the reigns to Philip Rivers.  Why shouldn't Denver do the same, cause Orton doesn't even come close to the skill set of Brees...   :notworthy: :notworthy:

Had to find out if Tebow could play or not.  He can't. So at least they know.

tebow can play he just needs to know how to stay in the pocket longer and get the pass off.

Is Tebow truly that horrible of a player? I mean he sure seems to gather a ton of negative ink and the comments beneath the articles are frequently so nasty.

Tebow is just holding out. He can play. People will be surprised when he is ready to release some of his abilities. :fish: :fish: :fish:

tim tebow is not a good quarterback but he's a winner and knows how to win. he needs to shorten his throwing motion.

Kyle Orton was never going to be a guy you built your team around.  They needed to find out what they had in Tebow, and for the most part, have been rewarded for it.  Still do not what the future is for Tebow, but they made the right call.

Kyle Orton was no great shakes but neither is Tebow in my opinion.  Yes he is a great guy, yes he is great leader, yes he is a great person to look at, but he is just not a great quarterback.  No offense but it is true.  He is clutch and exciting but not a great passer.  He needs to learn to be a better passer if he wants to succeed long term.
