Do you love Owls    It seems that it was really a hot item this year.  I think I always thought they were cute but my little grandson was named "Owlsley" so .... it makes it even cuter to me now i think.... I am always looking for cute owl items to make or buy.

I think Owls are one of the most interesting and complicated birds. My uncle had a pet Owl named "Hoot Gibson" that was very cool.

I don't really pay attention to trends, but yeah Owls are great. Adorable and amazing in any size.
Have you seen the book series or movie "Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga Hoole"? Very nice animation. Haven't read the book, but it's aimed towards youth, I think.

Yes, I agree I've seen them pop up on shirts everywhere this year (especially at Tillys). I've always liked owls, even though they look kind of scary as hatchlings

The theme of my daughter's room is "woodland" so there are a few owls in her room too

About two weeks ago, my husband called me to come look in our back yard.  There on a fence post was an owl.  I had never seen a real one before, even after living in the country for about 12 years.  He says he sees them once in a while at night driving back from class.

i'm an owl lover too! owls and elephants are my favorite
animals. i'd like my next tattoo to be an owl (you can guess
what the first one was, lol).

i see them as a throwback to the '70s. my aunt had this
amazing owl lamp back in the day and i always thought it
was really neat. they just have a cool retro look to them.
i'd LOVE to have one for a pet, but not sure if i could get
over feeding them mice/other things that come along with
taking care of them.

Owls are superb.  I love them. I admire & respect them as I do the other majestic birds of prey (eagles, falcons, hawks, etc). I think I may actually have a feather or two of an owl.

When it comes to the bird species, Owls are definitely a hoot.  Do you remember how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?  If so, you're getting up there like me!

my grandma who is on longer here use to collect owl figurines, they were her favorite.

I read a book not long ago about a gal who raised an owl from the time it hatched.  Very interesting but not very easy    I think I'll stick to pictures are cute and seeing one in person would be super cool but I don't think I could raise one.  I'm not much of a collector but if I were, owls and seahorses would be high on my list.

my mother collected owls in the 70s...although her collection seemed dark & spooky to me. Despite my 70s memories,  I think owls are gorgeous creatures overall, and Owlsley is an adorable name.  We see and hear Owlsley here on fc first   , and next it will be the name of gwyneth paltrows next kid.
