any one got a remedy for the flu

I have a remedy, kinda gnarly but its natural and helps. When I get really sick (which I just got over a 3 week sickness) I think I had the flu as well... I like to "flush my system" ridding all of the toxins from your body. Look up the sea salt water flush it gives you a recipe. I also took lots of warm baths to keep myself feeling ok. If you guys have a sore throat gargling salt water is always natural also a warm shot of teqiula kills bateria... I also drank a lot of TheraFlu that stuff rocks! Hope I can help... feel better soon

Some things my Mom did for me that I do to my kids is.... warm glasses of jello.  Crackers/sprite/7-up/gatorade.  I don't know what it is about warm jello but it usually stays down.  When fevers get high and are hard to break we take ice cold wash clothes and wipe the entire body down. top to bottom front and back.  It's a horrible chilling feeling but another weird thing that seems to work.

Some say rub a little Hydrogen Peroxide behind the ears.

Prayer, meditation, positive imagery, chi kung, raw garlic and raw onions. Just a few to start u off with

Hot toddies work wonders. Tea with honey, lemon and a splash of brandy. If you don't drink, just omit the brandy. If you have chest congestion, this sounds gross but it works, make a mustard paste and spread it on your chest and cover up. Just use dry mustard and add water to make a paste. Time is the only cure for the flu but the above things do make you feel better.

call the DR. and get a prescription for Tamaflu. works great, but I think you have to take it within the first 48-72 hrs of onset of the flu. good luck and speedy recovery!

My best advice... STAY AWAY FROM KIDS and you won't get it in the first place!!!  

Seriously though, lots of rest and fluids. It usually just has to run it's course...

Take at least 2 liters of water a day, a lot of rest and anti-flu meds.
