Violence, how can it be stopped  in our world? It's up to us whether we live in peace or continue with our violent  wars.

In this country "gun control" is best solution in my opnion, other countries we stay out of them and let them control their own.

Tell me about it, I grew up in a violent household.  And when we called the cops on my mother's abusive boyfriend he didn't care  because he would say "good now I'm on vacation, free food and shelter"!  Then he would get out in a few months after pressing charges!

Gun control would not stop violence. It would actually cause more violence, because the bad guys would realize that their potential victims were defenseless. An awful lot of people get killed in car accidents, so maybe we should ban driving. Oh, and knives, including kitchen knives, kill people too, so we can't have those either. (Must be some really talented knives, to get up on their own and stick themselves in people; just as talented as the guns that load themselves with bullets, aim themselves and pull their own triggers.)

It come down to the bottom line with stopping the violence. Each of us must account for our own action. By not letting violence be a part of our lives. By chance there is no violence in each person life that it would no longer exist.

If you're realistic, you know that as long as their are living breathing things there will be violence period.  It began in the time of Adam and Eve and will end when this world is no more.

Stopping violence all together is not feasible. Its like being wet or being dry. You can't have one without the other, and neither one is going away.

I could not agree more with you, violence started in this world when Cain killed Able and has been here ever since. Yet i hope with enough people like ( Martin Luther King) beliefs, of none violent ways we can reached that goal of stopping the violence. No matter when it started. This does not mean we as a people can't stop it.

I don't think violence can ever be stopped. I think that violence is part of our lives for humans, animals, insects, etc.
