"Is FusionCash a tax write off?"

I'm curious. Did the owner create fusioncash to give away free cents and dollars in order to collect on their tax refund?

It makes sense to me. If i had just won say the powerball lottery i'd invest in a 'give away free money' website off in order to help those out whom are less fortunate and unsure of the future. As Paul Newman, the actor once stated, "spread money around after you earn it".

I doubt very much that is their reason behind this.

Like any business, FusionCash is allowed expenses and deductions off their gross income. Giving away the "free" money is business expense under advertising and promotion

It's a little like Walmart when they sell something for under what they paid for it. For example if they bought a pen for  15 cents and sold it for 10 cents (to get people to come into the store) then it shows as a 5 cent loss to their gross income.

I hope this helps.

I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

I don't think that's what he or she had in mind, when they started this website
