I think that overall it was well done.  The had to make room for several Whitney tributes but I think they did great.  It was crazy at times but they got thru it.

Adele has a beautiful voice and no gimmicks.  I am so sick of all the Pop stars trying to entertain and not singing.  I also thought Taylor Swift and Jennifer Hudson did a great job.  The tribute to Glen Campbell was great as well.

I've never been able to just sit and watch the Grammy's. They just don't interest me all that much. However, I liked Adele and was happy to see her win.

I was not impressed with the Grammy's. And not because Whitney Houston died either. I think they concentrated on to many old timers and not enough current performers.

I think the best part was the oldtimer Glen Campbell.  His mark on music history is incredibly astute and he was a fabulous talent.   :notworthy: :peace:  8)

Loved that Adelle won them all. Lady Gaga could not believe it. Talent is talent hype and hoopla is what that is too, lol:-)

I never watch the Grammy's. I don't listen to new music. The last time I watched the Grammy's was with my mom 3 years ago and the whole time I kept saying "Who is that?"... The really sad part is my 53 year old mother was able to answer me.

It is funny that you say that.  I thought she looked like she was in shock that she was not the focus of the entire evening.  Was it just me or did she look like, "What?  I am the person they should be paying attention to!"  With that net on her face.  Just goes to show you that gimmicks only stay popular for awhile.  Talent lasts.

Also I can't believe that Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys was there.  Dang I thought he was in a mental home somewhere.

I have not watched the grammy's since the 80's but decided to turn in for a laugh.

I only caught a part of it, but the best part to me wasn't even part of the actual show.  The Chipotle commercial, after Coldplay's performance, stole the entire part of it I saw.  I wasn't even aware it has been available online since last August, but it was great it's message got exposure to 40+ million people at one time.
