Laptop or Desktop

we use to have a desktop until in quit on us , now we have  laptops and i dont miss our desktop at all...

I used to have a desktop but now use a laptop - I can go wireless in another room or the yard if I want.

I have a Laptop and Desktop but use my laptop exclusively-more mobile.

I have both. I use my desktop more because for some reason my laptop can't hold a wireless signal for more than 30 seconds before it disconnects. If that didnt happen I would definitely use that more. I use my laptop pretty much for schoolwork.

I have owned a laptop before and they are nice to have. I do have desktop and but would love to have another laptop to use also

I would say either...It depends on the mood I suppose and what I want to do...If I want to sit down and watch t.v. I'd rather use a laptop...but most of the time I use a desktop...hope that helps...what are you having this poll for?
Are you trying to decide which to buy? or what is preferable?

laptops are better because you can move around with them

I like having both.  The laptop is great for web stuff, but when I get into Photoshop and other graphics, I prefer my desktop for the larger monitor size, the peripherals and the desk space.  I think I have the best of both!!

in my home we have 3 desktops, two which are rarely on and a lap top which i which daily before i go to bed, i prefer the laptop as well im in the process of ordering one of those mini laptops because it will be a lightweight and only used for a few items

i personally love my laptop because its easy to take with me anywhere i go but a desktop is good for when you need to have a permanent work space

I have a laptop.. for me, it's more practical since I move around a lot & frequently use my computer for/at work!

I would like to have both. It would be nice to have a simple desktop to use at home. Although I have to admit that most of the time at home I use the laptop while laying on the couch... like right now!
