It is annoying to get unwanted phone calls all the time. I get a lot of calls from colleges and some cruise line saying that I have won a cruise. Anyway I start answering the phone and just asked them to take me off of their list because I feel like I am being harassed. Surprisingly the calls stopped.

:angry7:I have started getting sells calls on my mobile phone now that I started putting my phone number on all the survey sites. Education, free Government money and home security, The Education is the one I get the most several times a day, time to get on the Do Not Call List.
Anyone else have this happen? :crybaby2:
I have to say as of yesterday I got 0 zero phone calls, my home phone I changed to my internet number and I told everyone that called before that I was not interested and I was going to put them on the FED gov do not call list.

Yes, I have this kind of call often, even you answering the phone and no one answer it. You can check out the web EveryCall....good luck

I've been getting a ton of calls too but I just ignore them if I don't recognize the number.  I also get a phenomenal amount of junk mail, but luckily I use a separate email for surveys and offers and keep my regular one just for friends and family.

Maybe only do the offers on this site that don't ask you to provide your phone number. It can be a little annoying at times.

I got a text saying I won a Gift card. It looked bogus, so I didn't go to the website.

I had that happened on my home phone. I guess it helps to read their privacy policy. What you could do at the moment is to place a do not call list.

They are annoying calls sometimes and on some stuff they ARE NOT OPTIONAL.  On some of the stuff through FC you either put a real number down or you can't move to the next page.  Also, as far as I go I don't mind putting my real number down and even though it can be annoying all you have to do is let it go to voice mail and if it's a number you don't know just delete it.  If you have a plan that you need to conserve on minutes even listening to your voicemail I say once you hear or see a number come up delete it immediately.  That's all I do or if I know I'm not going to be needing my cell phone I just put it on vibrate and I NEVER put my home phone number down.

Make sure you have your phone number listed at the Do Not Call Registry (a government site; you can Google it). It keeps almost all the riff-raff at bay. If you get a call you do not want, tell the caller you are listed at the Do Not Call Registry and not to call you again. It really works
