I get the worse anxiety when starting a new job or anything new for that matter. I never understood why though. It's almost like stage fright. It's crazy. Good post. :)

Afraid to start nah.  No one is 100% ready for any job they start on day one.  I'm more afraid of not getting a job that I was seeking.  I'm the type of person that likes to create buffers.  If i have a main job I set myself up to have a secondary job (Even if it's 6-10 hours on a weekend) just in case I lose the main job.  I've been with out work before, and it ROYALLY sucked.  Especially when no one wants offer any help.  That worries me more than anything a new job could throw at a person.  =-P

  congratulations on your new job. every body gets a little nervous when they start a new endeavor. you must be qualified or the company would not have selected you for the position. just go in with the confidence and attitude that you will succeed and you will. good luck and have a great day!!!!!

I get scared whenever I do anything new. I hate change!! But we all must be out of our comfort zone at least once in awhile. It's good for us to learn new things and to have new experiences. Just try to have self confidence and the rest will work itself out. Good luck and congratulations on your new job.

I'm always a little apprehensive when I'm about to start a new job, but once I actually start work I'm fine. I always go in with a confident attitude, and that helps.

new jobs are exciting and intimidating!
especially when you're walking into a tight knit staff
who love fresh meat..........

you'll be fine!  :P
