Of course you're nervous in the beginning.  Just--take it one step at a time.  Remember to breathe; seriously, deep breathing can help calm the nerves.  You'll be fine.  Try not to worry too much. and don't be surprised if your workplace resembles one great big happy dysfunctioal family; that's happened to me a few times!

Yes. Been afraid starting new jobs. I was afraid to start my new employment with online cash earning sites like FusionCash.net because I thought I was going to get rejected for not giving my bank account information, but I didn't and I was relieved. However, I still harbor some fears in here because of the members that are harsh in their replies of how to do this or that and that I ought not be in FC because I'm a slow earner  :crybaby2: Maybe these harsh FC members have had a hard life filled with too much stress?  :dontknow:

You need to think of the money and great benefits and be happy that you are one of the lucky ones who have a great job.  Good Luck to you.

always a little afraid and nervous, anything new is like that cause you dont know what to expect. Just dont let that mess  you up by making mistakes. After a couple of days it will be fine, and good luck and congrats on job

I used to be afraid to start a new job, but now I just put it in the hand of the Lord and let him handle it.

I'm always nervous when I start a new job. There's new rules, new procedures, new co-workers...it's all new!
When I first started my current job, I was really nervous because I work in a casino at the players' club, and I am responsible for putting freeplay on people's accounts. If I drop too much money in someone's account, it could come out of my check. And I have the potential of accidentally putting $500 in someone's account!

I got promoted after 4 months, and I was nervous about the additional responsibilities, but I'm very comfortable in my position now.

Yes...everytime in my life that i have started a new job I have always been very scared, anxious, and nervous.  Mostly due to not really knowing the job or knowing anyone that works there.

The most afraid I have ever been starting a new job was when I got a job as an assistant manager for a payday advance company, because of the amounts of money I knew I would be handling and the responsibility I had for people who had delinquent loans.  But it turned out to one of the best jobs of my life and I only stayed there about three months before I was managing my own store and because of the awesome quality of training I got and personalities, that original manager is still and will always be one of my number one best friends.  I'm no longer with that company, but we still hang out and do Bingo nights together and everything.  But, yes, that was the most fear I have had, but I always have a general nervousness on any job about something new, new people, new challenges, and new responsibilities.

Absolutely.  It is always a little bit scary to start a new job or anything different because it takes us out of our comfort zone. ;D ;D ;D

I think we are just about always a little nervous when starting a new job.  I think people confuse that nervousness for fear when it isn't really the case.  So no, I wouldn't say I have ever been afraid.

I am afraid of starting a new job. I try to act confident when interviewing but inside I am a nervous wreck.  I haven't worked in over a year(feels a lot longer) because I can't seem to get hired.  Most people in our town tell me, its because I am almost 50.  50 is not old!!!
