I've been wanting to try bubble tea 'cause I'm a big tea drinker. I can't find it anywhere around here so I'd have to order it. But my friend has had it and she really likes it.

I'll have to check around and see if they have it here in central PA. If not, next time I visit NYC I'll see if I can find it in Manhattan (I used to live on Upper West Side -I don't know my way around Queens) Thanks for the heads up!

Hilarious.  My word was bleeped!  I didn't curse, I swear.  Maybe I should say the round beads instead of the word they think I used to curse!  The round things you bounce!

Yes I love Bubble Tea.  I used to live in Taiwan where it originated so I have had lots of them.  It's not so cheap over here in the states so I don't have them often.  There aren't a lot of places around where I live that sells them.  There's a place in the mall not too far from where I live but I've never had one there because it's kind of expensive for my taste.  I used to have a lot of them when I lived in Hawaii they have plenty of it out there.

Yeah, I've had it at a local Thia place a couple times.  It's not bad, but it is kind of sweet.

I've always wanted to try it but I have been hesitant on account of the high sugar content.  I wonder if you can get it sweetened with stevia.

I think I've heard of it, but I can't think of where or when.  It sounds interesting.  I drink tea all the time and I love tapioca pudding, but I don't eat out hardly ever.  Maybe I can make it at home, I have some tapioca in my cupboard.  There's got to be a recipe on the net somewhere.  :-

This is the first I have heard of this. I will research it on the internet like I do everything new I learn. Has anyone ever had "Thai tea?" They serve it in Thai food restaurants. It is on ice, it is sweet and creamy tasting.
