Enjoy! We specifically waited until both of our kids were born to know their gender. I wanted more joy in the hospital then just being done. It was exciting and the doctors were grateful to be able to tell us at birth because they so rarely get to anymore. Mine are 10 and 7 (next week on 9/11) and if we ended up having a third I would probably find out the gender early so I knew whose room the baby would be in.

my schedule changed at work to 9-5:30 so i had to tell my supervisor about it in advance coz it's at 3:30pm. i do want to know what the kid is before its born so when/if i have a baby shower then i can announce the gender so everyone knows what colors to pick.  plus, i want to have names picked out before hand so i am prepared.

I didn't get big with my first at all not uncommon with first time moms.If you are a first time mom.didn't have internet 30 yrs ago now you'll get all the advice you need probably to much.

How cool! Don't worry too much about not getting too big-- heck, according to my medical records, my morning sickness was so bad I didn't go over my pre-pregnancy weight with either of my boys until 7 1/2 months-- I was underweight the entire time before. And they came out 8 lbs 15 oz and 9 lbs 5 ounces
