i like to use my laptop for general use. surfing, watching YouTube videos, making money, etc. i mainly use my desktop to game or stream videos.
I use a desktop only right now because I some how crashed two laptops surfing traffic exchanges. I guess I should have been using the desktop instead of the laptop anyway. My best friend is a computer technician and she will not fix them until I promise her I want surf traffic exchanges. I don't know if I can keep that promise. Maybe just surf 1 or 2 sites at a time instead of 10.
I just got a Dell dual core laptop with 2Gb memory on Ebay for $21.50. It had to be listed for Parts Only, because it had no hard drive or CD/DVD drive, but it showed pictures that it booted up to the BIOS, so I took a chance. When it got here, I burned Browser Linux on a USB stick ($5 at Office Depot for 8Gb) and fired it up on that. Last night (while I was watching TV) I used it to surf 2,000 credits on traffic exchanges, with no worries that I would infect my Windows computer with any spyware or virus, because it was turned off. It did cost me another $21.50 for shipping, but I live in a rural area so it would have cost me that much in gas to go get one in the nearest city. Then I spent $12 for an A/C adapter, which brought my total expense up to $60 for the entire project. I am a happy camper with a sweet dedicated Internet machine.
Did you see how OldBuddy solved that problem. With a laptop dedicated to use for surfing for credits. My first computers came from peoples garbage. Sadly the recycling center gets them now!

My first laptop I found in the garbage of a major brokerage firm, it had a docking station as well. Have a Dell laptop which is the first one I purchased and last year I got a Compaq/HP laptop. I want a kindle/tablet to use while out and about.

But since it will not have enough power to run an external DVD drive, I will have to look around awhile. Working from a PC right now, my brother build and shipped from CA.
