Delusions and assumptions torture my mind; thoughts of nature so far left behind.
Think I can until I lay in a mire; to quite my being and extinguish that old fire.
Travelled so far crossed many a ravines; flashes of red and hesitant scenes.
Lost to rationality left to my own devices; to my emotions and heart regret just slices.
Tarriance I have long to through the hours; come through to the end I'll implore all my powers.
Grasp at straws I'll cling to hope; end this slippery slope.
Really no reason to dispair; no justification said to be fair.
From the boot straps I shall arise; light of day and reassurance is the prize.
