I prefer cats. No outdoor walks and no barking. But dogs are sweet too. I used to have one myself.

I like dogs..I think its because dogs are more outdoors, playful,loyal and wiil help save a life

Cats for sure...marvelous creatures! So different from dogs..born killers (of small critters) yet sweet purring lap animals, too. A cat who lives in the house and is never allowed out ( for his own safety) is way different than an outdoor cat. Of course responsible pet ownership requires spaying or neutering. It helps the animal and society to do this..too many reproduced cats and dogs get euthanized, and then ground up for commercial cattle feed ( disgusting)

I am a lap dog kinda girl! I have had a couple of cats in the past, just couldn't bond with them the way you do a dog.

We're cat people.  We have one at home who came from the shelter and we volunteer at the same shelter.  It's like having multiple cats without a cat horder    They are all so different and fun!

I think cats are easier to train. Put a box of sand in front of them and they are "good to go".  Simple, couldn't be easier.

I prefer dogs cause they are a little more social.  I've seen cats where they pretty much hold up in their own area of the house and won't even let you pet them.  Whereas most dogs will come when called and adore being petted.  I'd rather have an animal that reacts to me then just expect me to provide food and that's it.

I prefer dogs, they can always tell if your happy or sad.  The love you unconditionally, and are always happy to see you.

Cats are typically cleaner, but dogs are often more fun to do things with outdoors. I think it depends on the person.

I prefer my turtles. Lol I wish I had a dog though.

Dogs. I have a dog and won't even bother getting a cat. I feel cats are lazy and dogs are energetic all the time. I like my weird and active doggy
