I used to love yard sales, it was like a treasure hunt early on Sat. morning.   At some point I realized I had too much junk.
I still like them but now I only go to the larger ones with groups like at the church yardsale.  That way alot of stuff is all in one place and I don't have to run all my gas out.  ;)

I like going to yard sales. I only like doing them if I'm in a tight spot and need extra money right away. Otherwise it's a bit of a hassle.

I do not especially like buying anything from yard sales unless I know the person.  You never know you could come home with an item with bedbugs! :o

I used to think yard sales were only old junk and never bothered.  Some decades later, I discovered you can get some neat stuff and for less money.  My cousin helped me realize this when I remarked on some of her beautiful decor and she said it's from a yard sale.  My sister made me think "old" stuff was bad feng suah, and would bring evil into your home.  No longer a believer.
