What do you do at night when you can't sleep

One thing I do is go on the Internet and postings here and other places.

My wife can't sleep she likes to put on her favorite movie you've got mail. Actually will watch it for a few minutes she came fall asleep as it relaxes her!

What is your favorite thing to do when you can't sleep you watch movies you watch read or do you watch on the Internet.?

I'll read and/or watch something on tv.  I usually steer away from online videos b/c those are usually interesting and keep me awake.  Not saying that what's on tv isn't interesting but there have been times I've fought my sleep to watch certain shows/vlogs on YouTube lol.

I read a book until I cant keep my eyes open, sometimes it lasts 15 minutes sometimes it lasts for hours but it does the trick for me.

I normally lay down and read a good book.  Problem starts when I get into the story and its 3am and I'm still reading.

I go through the alphabet and try to think of a three-letter word that starts with A, then B, then C.  If I make it through the whole alphabet and I'm still awake, I start over with four-letter words, then five-letter words.  I like words.

I watch TV (usually a movie or two on Netflix)... I know you're not supposed to, but I can't help it....

when i cant sleep at night i crochet or knit,play with the animals we have or just lay there,

I read, usually a book I've read before. That way, I don't get into it and wind up not sleeping because I'm so interested in the book! 

If that doesn't work, I go out and sit on my porch in the dark and listen to the night sounds.

That usually works to quiet my mind enough to sleep.

Gotta watch that I don't get too relaxed out there though..I have fell asleep outside on the porch more than once!

Very few nights that I cannot sleep.  But when I don't I tend to surf the internet.

Surf the internet...go on FC to try make a little extra money.  Then watch a movie on Netflix. Sometimes but rarely, i'll clean the house...can't do too much otherwise make too much noise.
