Does anyone know why my skin would be red under my eyes?

These last couple of months have been rough for my skin. Everyday my skin is red under my eyes and it is almost like it is very dry and flaky. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I have gone to my doctor and he told me I have ezcema. But I believe it could be, maybe allergies or something else. I need some help. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thank You!!

Did your doctor recommend anything to treat it. Often inflammatory skin conditions use steroid creams like hydrocortisone cream which can help some although with extreme caution as not to get the cream in your eyes. Really your doctor should have given you some advice on how to treat it. Skin conditions can be very localized to a specific area so while it could be irritated skin from allergies I wouldn't discount a skin condition.
