"GREEN" transportation

I just bought one of those little (and I do mean "little") electric scooters. It's really fun to ride, and it sure beats filling up my gas hog of a car for small trips.  People tend to do a double take when they see me humming down the street.  (I'm not sure if they admire my sense of environmental awareness, or are just thinking how stupid I look! Used to walk everywhere I needed to go within a five mile radius, but with temps over 100-THAT would be stupid!  Anyway, I'll stick with my little "red devil"  I'm saving money on gas, and if folks laugh about my scooter, that's OK--I'll laugh too--all the way to the bank with the money I've saved

50 bucks...bought it from a guy whose wife had ridden it only 3 times...She felt SILLY!!  Oh well, her loss--MY gain
