PTC CHANGES JULY 15TH

Anyone able to read about these changes?  What is changing?  Saw the headline, but unable to click and read it.. please enlighten me if ya know about this, thanks much!

Hello All,

I don't think this change will make you guys too happy, but unfortunately it's one of those things that just has to be done!

Effective July 15th, there will be a new prerequisite/requirement for completing the daily 15c Paid to Click.  The requirement is earning 5c or more in qualifying credits first.

What are qualifying credits?  Basically anything that isn't a bonus, and isn't the Daily Cash Email.  So you can meet the new 5c PTC requirement through tasks, videos, RadioLoyalty, searching on the toolbar, any survey, any offer, etc.  You can also mix and match (e.g. 1c from RadioLoyalty, 2c from a task, 2c from searching) to qualify. A lot of you are already doing this on your own, and for you, this shouldn't affect your daily routine too much.  For the rest, it's time to start pulling your weight a little bit!

Some details: A day starts at 12:01am Pacific time (check the clock in the top right of any forum page for official FC time).  You have to be credited 5c or more in qualifying credits on a particular day before you can complete the PTC.  This requirement will be in effect each and every day, from July 15th onward.  You will have to meet the 5c minimum each time that you want to participate in the PTC.

One small sliver of good news is: at the same time, we'll also be reducing the time required on the PTC page from 3min to 2min30sec.

You may be asking why we're doing this.  The reason is that a subset of members have taken to completing just-and-only the PTC.  While this is not against the rules, it goes against the spirit of the PTC program, which was to reward you a little extra for showing up every day and earning.  Over the years, the percentage of members who only do the PTC has grown.  If we don't do something about it, it will become un-maintainable in the next few years.  Since we're focused on long-term sustainability (having just celebrated 8 years in business), we're making this change long before it gets to that point.

We evaluated the possibility of reducing the PTC reward to 10c, or reclassifying it as "bonus" earnings instead of "offer" earnings.  But those options were strongly disliked in the December 2012 member survey that we conducted.  Most everyone surveyed wanted the reward to remain 15c and the classification to remain "offer", even if that meant meeting other daily requirements.

I don't see a problem with this. I try to make more than .15 a day or I probably would not bother.

Still learning the "ropes," but this is not a bad idea, helps with focus. Yall should be working for the government..... , or maybe not....

  I agree... I don't have a problem with this either.  I too try and utilize the radio loyalty in getting more than $0.17 per day.  I think it's smart for FC to add a little more to the requirement.  I think many will be surprised how doing a just a few more cents in tasks, offers etc...will really boost there $25 cash out a little sooner.

I think that if this change is going to be in effect on July 15th, it would be great if the ) $0.15 can increase to $0.20 if we earn 10 qualifying credits or $0.25 if we earn 15 qualifying credits.  The more credits we earn, the more we can earn daily from the $0.15 daily clicks.

Okay it is what it is, I'm still grateful for the opportunity to earn money and in life you have to work for what you want.  This willnot be hard for me because Itry to do a variety of task, bonus and offers as often as possible.

I don't have a problem with this at all but there are days when the toolbar searches do not get credited and I guess if that happens then we won't be able to do the PTC or DM. I hardly ever qualify for surveys and I think it's just because I am in the wrong demographics which apparently most surveys are looking for 18-34 y/o market. Guess they figure after 35 you've pretty much made up your mind on everything LOL!

I am guilty of being one of those guys. However, I see it as a way and motivation to make a little bit more every day now.

I don't see it as a problem, its motivation to spend a little more time earning. Paid to click is one of my favorite offers on Fusion Cash. I'm just very glad it is still available.

I just hope it's that I need to earn 5 cents sometime in the day, and not BEFORE I can click the PTC.  I get annoyed when other sites prevent you from clicking something until you do something else.  If all I can do is RadioLoyalty, it would be a pain to have to wait 50 minutes before I can click the PTC.  Other than that, I don't really mind the change.
