1/2 cent for a 6 minute video.

I really don't find too much to complain about here - I honestly love the new layout and the 1/2 cent videos have been fine... BUT.... I just now clicked on my 2nd 1/2 cent video and it is 6 minutes long!  I understand FC can only pay us what their advertisers are willing to pay, but this seems a bit much.  I'll watch the video, get my 1/2 cent and move on, but I really do not care for this.

I noticed that too. One of the videos was 1/2 cent and 10 minutes long! Can't remember which one though.

Yes the really long 1/2 cent videos are a tad annoying, and unless you have multiple monitors you cant even go do something else while they play.  I just started it and went to go make a pot of coffee while it was playing.

I did a video for 1/2 cent and it was 8 minutes long.  I can very well understand if it was 2 or 4 minutes long, but 8?  You have to watch the video in its entirety to get $0.005 cent.  That is unheard of.  I liked it better when I watched the videos and was paid 1 cent.  At this rate, to earn 5 cents, you have to watch 10 1/2 cent videos just to do the paid to click.  I can understand a lot of things, but this makes no sense.

I agree it is annoying it is nice to have videos but the 1/2cent is not worth it to me.  It would be nice if FC could let us know how long each video is.  Some videos are quite long while others are short and many you have no idea how long it is going to be until the entire video has finished.  On occasion I will have a video that for whatever reason takes forever to load that I just have to exit out of.  Much of the slow loading is probably on my end but it is hard to tell.  Like all things online, sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes not.

To further add to the annoyance with these you have to watch two to see if they even credit! So that first eight minutes may have been all for nothing.

I've just been avoiding any half cent ones longer that a minute or two. It's not worth it.

I was having trouble not getting paid either for the videos that wree 1/2 cent. I figured they would get it straightened out sooner or later.

I agree, it would be nice to know the length of the video before clicking on it.  That way, I could decide to do it at the time or wait til later.

The 1/2 cent videos just don't work for me 
My time is too important for me to watch 1/2 cent video, even if it is a minute or two it is just not enough.
I choose to overlook them and move on.... to alittle bit better pay on the 1 cent (or better) videos or something else on FC that will make my time worthwhile.

Yea i agree with you! 1/2 cent for a 3 to 9 minute video. That's not right. Sometimes I don't even get that. some times there is only 1 1/2 penny video and no other what I don't get paid.

Hi all,
I know that not everyone finds the 1/2 cent videos to be worth their time.  To help, we've added a switch to the paid videos page (bottom right) which lets you hide them if you'd prefer not to see them.  Turning "off" the 1/2 cent videos will simply hide them, you can always turn them back "on" later.

I do not like the 1/2 cent that i would not do. I mean i love the site but I do not have the time to watch a 6 minute and get a half a penny and how does that show up on your account do you have to do 2 to get the penny because I tried once and did not get anything.
