I use to suffer brownouts at my residence when there were heat waves, but the weather has been cool (and unfortunately non-rainy) for some time now.

No, I don't have that problem often.  If we have a sleet or ice storm power may be lost but in this area that type of weather is very infrequent.

No, not very often.  I live up a country hollow so if we get really bad storms, we may be without power if a tree falls over the power lines.

Sometimes we get a power outage in the winter but the electric company seems to take care of it promptly. I think it is worse in more populated areas than it is here.

We have great electric service at my location.  During bad ice storms or other weather-related disasters we have experienced outages but the electric company is very responsive and gets us back on as soon as possible.

I have lived in a rural community(ies) for the last 35 years.  The power doesn't go out nearly as much as it used to.  Now, when it does it is usually just for a short period of time.  Unless it is a major storm like we had last summer.  We were some of the lucky ones.  Power was only out for 5 days.  We are now guaranteed to never suffer another power outage.  Why you ask? SImple, we went out and spend $800 on a generator.
