By far the Exorcist.  I remember seeing it years ago and still have not forgotten all the scary scenes.

I admit, I don't really like scary movies but.... I ended up watching copycat by accident the other day and I couldn't turn it off. I had to know if they'd ever catch that peter curtain guy. Other than that V vendetta had me shakin in my boots, had to turn it.  One day I'll get the nerve and try to wacth it again

I have seen a few scary movies in my time.  Dracula tops the list.  I saw a movie called "Please Don't Open the Window" back in the 1970's.  That movie freaked me out.  Another one was "Please Don't Look in the Basement".  It was scary too.  With the special effects in these movies today, they look more gory and lifelike.  I saw another movie in the 1970's.  It was called "The Wizard of Gore" about an illusionist that was doing tricks on women and whatever he did killed them and what he did fell into place.  That movie actually gave me nightmares.

My favorite scary movies are the Exorcist, the Unseen, Salem's Lot (old version), and From Beyond.

I love "VanHelsing" with Hugh Jackman.  He is one of my favorite actors.  Running a close second is "Silence of the Lambs."  I do not care for most of the blood-and-gore movies that seem to be so popular.  Give me a non-human monster anytime.

mine was paranormal activity but now am  not scared of that too.
