i'm sure you know someone like that. I can't stand to be around them at all. How do you deal with these kind of people?

looks like you need to just saty away from someone that bothers you that much, why torture yourself by being around someone like that.

Deal with them? Heck, I won't be any where near them to have a problem of 'dealing with them'! :)

Smile and walk away.  No need to be rude, just exit gracefully and remember they are the one with the problem, not you.
These type of people have a major security issue and I wish them well in life.

Sometimes they are not so easy to ignore and to walk away from, specially when they are a member of your family.

People who are like this feel the need to feel important.

All behavior has its start somewhere, so this person's behavior likely started in childhood where they felt they weren't appreciated or recognized enough.

I'm sure we all have behaviors that irritate the people in our lives.  :o

I guess we all have our negative traits.  I try to see the best in people.  I enjoy my life more that way.

I usually just smile and walk away, too.  There's not much you can say since they've already said it all plus some!
Have a wonderful day!

I stay away from people who bother me that bad.  Even if it is family.

It can be a touchy situation with family members, so I try to tune it out.  My mother has always been like that and I would try to tune her out. She is very old now and I just appreciate the time I have with her. I just avoid other people like that as much as possible.

In my eyes people like that are just so into themselves they can't see past their own noses.  I just ignore them and they finally go away!!!

I tend to feel sorry for those type of people. Evidently, they are missing something and they feel the need to blow their own horn so to speak to get the attention that they are craving. I usually do the same as so many of you and try to tune them out. Sometimes, I might even try blowing their horn for them so in hopes that the attention they are after will soothe them enough that everybody else around them can get a much needed break. It has worked on a couple of occassions but is not a fail proof method. I have had it to backfire on me and caused the horn blower to be even worse than normal. Needless to say, that kind of put me in hot water, but you don't know if you don't try. All I can say is TREAD SOFTLY! :peace:
