I'm a 12 month a year spender!  :-\ ... However, around about September I do start spending less money and start saving up for X-mas.

I also like to save as much as I can from surveys in my Paypal account.  It's a great way to save as you know it's there but you just aren't sure how much!

Not really, I'm constantly saving up money.

I save year round. I try to not give in to my wants too much, I look for coupons or discounts and I cook more at home. Of course with Christmas I'm not able to save as much for obvious reasons.

That's an excellent strategy, especially since Christmas and birthdays tend to set people back financially.

I'm a constant saver too but this year I fell into the trap of "treating myself" and have been taking out but I'm definitely going to tighten up on that in the upcoming months.

Not really, I'm constantly saving up money.

For me, after Christmas is a time that I save money. I think lots of people try to recover from the holidays. I sometimes try to find a part time job to recover. Good luck in your savings.

I always hope so, but it seems like something comes up every month!  There is always something that is tapping into our savings, whether it's a car repair, needing a new appliance, work clothes for the husband, the list goes on.  But oh well.  At least we get a little bit put away every month!

That's unique; Christmas time is usually a break breaker for most, especially those like myself who have family bdays in this month.  I use to try to get everyone something, now I just gift my kids and those who gift my kids.

That's what I was just telling a friend who wanted to borrow some money and pay me back come income tax time- something always seems to come up during income tax time for everyone, including myself.  Whether it be regarding the kids or vehicle or appliance repair/replacement or overextended bills.

It's hard to save money with everything going up from my rent to the premiums on my policies with less and less health benefits every year.

I try to save throughout the year, but December is one of those  months, when you are in spending mode and not on saving mode.
