Although there may be some danger for the husband of a particularly lovely wife, leaders generally fear 'putting asunder what God hath put together' more than they fear 'wronging your sister.'

Kind of a vague warning, but here's another way to think of it: when I met a friend of mine, I didn't know that she was engaged/married. And I didn't see her man with her, so she was single-&-free as far as I knew.

And I proceeded to 'pitch woo' (in my way ... as I can only be a 'soul-provider,' not a 'sole-provider'  ). I thought it was 'weird' & 'uncomfortable' just because I'm weird & uncomfortable. But luckily I found out about 'the other guy' (although, is that what you call the guy when you are 'the other guy'?) before it got TOO weird & uncomfortable.

But I don't know, guys; lotsa men are able to endure a lot of the 'weird & uncomfortable' to be with women as "fair" as my friend, so you better be there to keep an eye on your lady!
