Sorry to hear of your laundry machine and dryer problems. I just replaced mines about 3 months ago. I had a problem with the dryer vent hose and it is so difficult to find a compatible replacement because my dryer is a very old one they had to order the part for me and it took almost a whole month.

I'm hoping my holds out for a few more years. Mine are from 1993. They've been good to me but I only have to use them once a month now since there's only the 2 of us.  Back when I needed to buy them, I was doing laundry for 5-6 people depending who we took in as temporary shelter.

I really should "trade" these for smaller washer/dryer, like the stackable ones because of only doing our laundry once a month. BTW, it sounds like we never wash our clothes but in reality, we have enough clothes to wear a different outfit every day for almost two months because we don't work anymore.

Sorry to hear that.  I think it would be good if you find some discount for that.  It cost a lot for both of them now a day if you want to buy a good one.
