It's almost that time of year, do you like real or artificial. I love the smell of a new real tree during the holidays.

I am an artificial tree person.  Bought one that is pre-lit so it will be easier going up and coming down.  I love the smell of the real but not a fan of the needles.

The smell of a real tree is always nice but I grew up with an artificial one. Probably continue to use artificial when I'm on my own. Plus I love that they come in different colors, especially the pink ones. They always remind me of the Peanuts Christmas special when Linus and Charlie Brown and walking through the tree lot.

I have never been happy with an artificial tree because a real tree smells so good.

I have an artificial one.  We have a big cookie exchange the first weekend in December.  So I have all my decorating up by then.  A real tree wouldn't last, and it would be a fire hazard.   It is also really nice to enjoy the holidays with the decorating done so early.

I love having a  Christmas tree .. usually artificial due to the animals .. about 5 years ago I got 2 new kittens and a puppy.  Haven't had a tree since .. I can just see the kittens running under the tree and my non graceful shepherd mix trying to follow them .. lol

I agree with you, I have always loved the smell of a real tree but my parent got a fake tree this year.

I love real trees, but these days, with no car, a small apartment and cats, I make do with a small artificial tree.  In fact I need to either repair or replace mine this year.  The light socket seems to be dead.

We have a 6 foot artificial tree.  When my kids were young (and we were too), we would go out and pick our tree at a tree farm.  My husband would cut it, we would bring it home and decorate it.  But now my girls have families of their own, so we have had artificial for a few years.

We had a artificial tree last year but this year we are getting a real tree. Yes it is something about the smell and I does fill your home with that pine scent. Lovely
