I hate when that happens.   Maybe the kids can go to the beach early and then come home?  We also have 3 birthdays over the weekend to add a little more complications at our house!

The kids in my family always get what they want, and they want to go to theme parks always LOL.

I hope that you won! I did what I always do which is work.  The nice thing was that I had Friday paid for by my daytime project (as a holiday) and then put eleven hours in with my night time project which pushed me into overtime. This was made even better on the Saturday because I only had to work ten hours instead of the fourteen I was planning on. I actually got to spend some time with the family at the pool and then went and watched some fireworks with them.  The clock started ticking again on Sunday as a new pay period started but I actually caught up on sleep and a little family time.  I am five weeks into crazier than normal hours and was notified today that it will continue until September.
