A Story You Might Like.
« on: August 03, 2015, 09:19:53 pm »
My daughter was in Sunday School at church yesterday.  My daughter is only 6.  The teacher was teaching about Daniel in the Lions' Den and asked if anyone had ever seen a miracle.

My daughter eagerly raised her hand and yelled, "I know a miracle."

The teacher said, "Yes, Nanni, what miracle did you see."

Nanni (my daughter) said with excitement, "It's a miracle that I cleaned my room."

Kids say the darndest things. (quote attributable to Art Linkletter, probably most of you don't remember who he is) Too bad we forget so many of those funny things.

We have tape recordings of our kids when they were really small and they are hilarious! If you have the opportunity to record your kids, do so. You will laugh at them later on and so will they.  :D

LOVE IT!!!

I collected dozens of things that my daughter said at various stages of her young life. I wrote them all down at the time she uttered them and dated them so that I would not forget them.  About a year or so into that, I turned them into a web site and added her quotes as they came.  My site is called Words of Wisdom, with a tagline "A sometimes confused — but often very wise and insightful — little girl, trying to understand and express herself in a grownup world. Many questionable quotes and quotable questions!"

If you Google that tagline, you can see a sampling of her quotes.  As she grows older and gets a better grasp on correctly expressing her thoughts, the funny quotes are coming much less frequently these days!

That is so funny and so like a six year old.  I bet it got a lot of laughs and I'm sure so only repeated something she had heard.
